PRC Demolition is the demolition division of PRC Builders — the Milford-based construction company behind hundreds of completed projects across Southern Connecticut. Same organization, same crews, same standards — purpose-built for demolition.
The Story
Why we got the demolition license.
For years, PRC Builders customers kept asking the same question: “Can you take the whole thing down?” The old garage before the new one. The fire-damaged house before the rebuild. The cracked patio before the new hardscape.
In Connecticut, taking down structures legally requires a state demolition contractor license — not a handyman registration, not a home improvement license. So we went and earned one. PRC Builders LLC holds an active Class B Demolition Contractor credential (DMCR.003450) from the Department of Administrative Services.
That license, our $2M insurance, and a decade of building experience are why we demo differently: we know what a structure is hiding, we know what the rebuild needs, and we know the site we leave behind is someone’s next project.
