Why a Licensed Contractor Matters
Commercial work gets audited — by lenders, insurers, and building departments. We operate under an active Connecticut Demolition Contractor license (DMCR.003450) with $2M in coverage, provide COIs naming you or your client before mobilization, and keep disposal records that survive due diligence.
Questions
Straight answers.
Do you work as a subcontractor under general contractors?
Yes — a large share of our commercial work is performed under GCs. We carry $2M in liability coverage, provide COIs with additional-insured endorsements, and scope our work in writing so it slots cleanly into your schedule of values.
What size commercial buildings can you demolish?
Our Class B state license covers structures up to 2½ stories or 35 feet — which includes most retail, office, restaurant, and light-industrial buildings in Connecticut. For interior strip-outs, building height is not a constraint.
Can you provide documentation for lenders or environmental review?
Yes. We document disposal facilities and weights, photograph conditions before and after, and coordinate with your environmental consultant when abatement precedes demolition.
